Install Satisfactory mods on a dedicated server
Check each mod’s dedicated server and game version support first. Back up the save and use the Satisfactory mod browser in the dashboard; SML documentation explains the tools needed for manual management.
Prerequisites
You need server access, a backed-up save and compatible mod releases. A listing on ficsit.app does not guarantee dedicated server support. Read the project description and check game version, SML version, dependencies and client/server requirements.
Install in the dashboard
Stop the server and open the Satisfactory mods section. Find the exact mod and check author and release details. Start with a small change instead of installing many mods at once. If client installation is required, all players need compatible matching releases. Start the server and inspect the console.
Verify, update and roll back
Test joining and load the save. Check mod-dependent buildings and features. Keep client and server logs when investigating errors. Mods may temporarily break after a game update. Removing a mod can remove world content; keep a separate backup and restore a matching mod/save combination if needed.
