Fast Forward
Control the speed of time!
Description
Control the speed of time!
This mod adds a chat command, `/speed [number]`, which allows you to speed up (or slow down time). Setting the speed to anything above `1` will speed up the game, and anything between `0` and `1` will slow it down. Setting the speed to `1` will go back to "normal".
The number entered can be anywhere between `0.0` and `10.0`. Decimals are not necessary, but can be used. You can enter numbers higher than 10, but they probably won't go any faster.
There is also a hotkey, defaulted to F8 which sets the speed to whatever is defined in the mod config.
There is a mod config value "Affect Player" that lets you choose whether the speed changes affect the player. So, for example, you could set the world speed to 0.5 but keep the player speed at 1.
<br>
NOTE - Trains cannot be sped up by this mod.
Examples:
`/speed 2`
`/speed 0.5`
`/speed 8.8`
`/speed 10`
`/speed 1`
Note: The speed is effected by your FPS. The mod changes the time dilation of the engine.

Frequently Asked Questions
Fast Forward not working after update – what to do?
After a Satisfactory update, mods need to be updated. Check ficsit.app whether Fast Forward has been updated for the new game version. With Mado Hosting: open the mod manager and click "Update All". If the mod hasn't been updated yet, temporarily remove it so the server starts.
Fast Forward causing crashes in multiplayer – solution
Most common cause: all players must have exactly the same mod version installed. Check server logs for "ModMismatch" or "Version Conflict". Ensure all players use Fast Forward v1.2.2 and the same SML. With Mado Hosting, Satisfactory servers run with 6 GB RAM for stable multiplayer performance.
Is Fast Forward compatible with other Satisfactory mods?
Fast Forward uses the Satisfactory Mod Loader (SML). Generally, SML-based mods are cross-compatible, but mods modifying the same game systems can cause conflicts. Test new mod combinations on a backup save. The Mado dashboard automatically detects known conflicts and warns you.
