Heavy Fluid Overhaul
The humongous pipe emulator that reduces all fluids in recipes, resource extractors and power generators
Description

Heavy Fluid Overhaul ('HFO') is an extensive mod which can greatly reduce the quantity of all fluids required by production recipes and power generators, as well as reducing the fluids produced by Resource and Water Extractors. This proportional reduction in both supply and demand simulates the throughput of higher-tier pipes, while working around the current technical limitations of Satisfactory's fluid modelling system (fluid flow rates are limited to the 600m³/min maximum of vanilla Mk.2 Pipes).
Unlike other mods, this one does NOT add any recipes or machines to simulate "compressed" fluids, and can be safely added mid-game without the burden of additional logistics.
> This mod can be configured through the __Mod Savegame Settings__, which is an ESC menu that only appears after a save file has been loaded or when starting a new game session.
> Note: You must save and reload your save file for the new settings to take effect.
There are plans to add support for popular mods that add custom machines and use fluids, but this task takes time, since most of them are closed source. Alternatively, you can contact mod's authors and ask them nicely to add support to HFO.

Summary
DEMAND: Automatically reduces the fluid requirements of all recipes and power-generators by 2x (default), 5x, or 10x.
SUPPLY: Separately sets the fluid output of each Extractor category below, to 1.0x, 0.5x (default), 0.2x, or 0.1x:
Fluid Resource Extractors (eg: Oil Extractors, Resource Well Extractors, etc.)
Water Extractors
Can optionally upscale the cost of building pipelines by a custom value.
Can optionally limit the fluid flow rate of vanilla Mk.1 and Mk.2 pipes to 150m³ and 300m³ respectively (useful to maintain balance when more extreme multipliers are used in the above settings for demand/supply, eg: 5x/0.2x and 10x/0.1x)
Works with any modded recipes or fluids, as well as modded machines which are based on vanilla machines and do not contain custom logic.

Frequently Asked Questions
Heavy Fluid Overhaul not working after update – what to do?
After a Satisfactory update, mods need to be updated. Check ficsit.app whether Heavy Fluid Overhaul has been updated for the new game version. With Mado Hosting: open the mod manager and click "Update All". If the mod hasn't been updated yet, temporarily remove it so the server starts.
Heavy Fluid Overhaul causing crashes in multiplayer – solution
Most common cause: all players must have exactly the same mod version installed. Check server logs for "ModMismatch" or "Version Conflict". Ensure all players use Heavy Fluid Overhaul v1.4.5 and the same SML. With Mado Hosting, Satisfactory servers run with 6 GB RAM for stable multiplayer performance.
Is Heavy Fluid Overhaul compatible with other Satisfactory mods?
Heavy Fluid Overhaul uses the Satisfactory Mod Loader (SML). Generally, SML-based mods are cross-compatible, but mods modifying the same game systems can cause conflicts. Test new mod combinations on a backup save. The Mado dashboard automatically detects known conflicts and warns you.
