Description
Robotic Logistics with Inserters
_This mod is currently being maintained by Robb#6731. Contact him if you want up to date source code._
The updates for this mod are on hold because I don't have time, but the [source code](https://github.com/Nogg-aholic/Inserter) is public if anyone else wants to fix it.
Please report bugs on the [Nog's Mods Discord](https://discord.gg/nakafUdRfj)
This is a Library Mod! It does not directly add any Inserter Buildings by itself, other Mods will need to do that, such as [InserterPlus](https://ficsit.app/mod/CWzNcXkeAnRrom).

This mod adds Inserters to the Game, an alternate means of transferring items between belts, containers, machines, etc. Inserters can be configured to move between specific containers, or be precisely controlled with [Ficsit Networks](https://ficsit.app/mod/FicsItNetworks) computers.

Known Bugs
Inserter movement animations won't play until you reload the game save.
Inserter item moving speeds can become higher than they should be if you limit how many they should be allowed to take, then later raise the setting.
Info
This is a Library Mod! It does not directly add any Inserter Buildings by itself, other Mods will need to do that, such as [InserterPlus](https://ficsit.app/mod/CWzNcXkeAnRrom).
The reasoning for this: balancing. If you are a mod or pack dev, you can create inserters with your own speeds, costs, models, and more. The meshes the mod uses by default are not public domain because they re-use some Satisfactory assets. If you chose to create your own inserters, you can still use the model, since it's the default model.
Because of a game limitation, its not possible to place items on a Conveyor Belt directly.
Instead, this Mod defines 2 types of Inserters.
The Inserter Splitter:
Can grab from Buildings that have Inventories
Can grab from ConveyorBelts
Can Place in Buildings that have Inventories
Requires Power
The Inserter Merger:
Can grab from Buildings that have Inventories
Can grab from ConveyorBelts
Can Place in Buildings that have Inventories
Can Place items onto its attached ConveyorBelt
Requires Power

Frequently Asked Questions
NogsInserters not working after update – what to do?
After a Satisfactory update, mods need to be updated. Check ficsit.app whether NogsInserters has been updated for the new game version. With Mado Hosting: open the mod manager and click "Update All". If the mod hasn't been updated yet, temporarily remove it so the server starts.
NogsInserters causing crashes in multiplayer – solution
Most common cause: all players must have exactly the same mod version installed. Check server logs for "ModMismatch" or "Version Conflict". Ensure all players use NogsInserters v1.0.0 and the same SML. With Mado Hosting, Satisfactory servers run with 6 GB RAM for stable multiplayer performance.
Is NogsInserters compatible with other Satisfactory mods?
NogsInserters uses the Satisfactory Mod Loader (SML). Generally, SML-based mods are cross-compatible, but mods modifying the same game systems can cause conflicts. Test new mod combinations on a backup save. The Mado dashboard automatically detects known conflicts and warns you.
