Charm of Undying
Adds accessory support for the Totem of Undying so you can place it in a slot and don't have to be holding it. Formerly known as Curio of Undying and Trinket of Undying.

About this Mod
Charm of Undying is a mod that uses the Curios API (Forge) and Trinkets API (Fabric/Quilt)
to add a new slot, the Charm slot, to the player inventory and allows the Totem of Undying
to be placed into this slot, either directly or through using the totem in-hand.
Features
While the totem is in this slot, the player will be granted the same death protection effect as if it was held in the
player's hand. This allows the player to gain the benefits of the totem without the hassle of needing to remember to
hold the totem or the need to sacrifice a useful hotbar/inventory slot to keep one around.

How to Install Charm of Undying on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Charm of Undying". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Charm of Undying server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Server lagging with Charm of Undying – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Charm of Undying consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
