Create and Restore Server Backups

Regular backups protect your world from data loss caused by crashes, bugs, or accidental changes.

Automatic Backups

Mado Hosting automatically creates regular backups of your server. The number of backup slots depends on your server:

  • 2 GB RAM: 1 backup slot

  • 4 GB RAM: 2 backup slots

  • 8 GB RAM: 4 backup slots

  • 16 GB RAM: 8 backup slots
  • Create a Manual Backup

  • Open the Panel and navigate to your server.

  • Go to "Backups" in the sidebar.

  • Click "Create Backup".

  • Optionally give the backup a name.

  • The backup will be created and saved.
  • Restore a Backup

  • Go to "Backups" in the Panel.

  • Select the desired backup.

  • Click "Restore".

  • Confirm the restoration.

  • The server will automatically restart with the restored data.
  • Note: Restoring a backup will overwrite the current server data. Create a backup of the current state first if you want to keep it.

    Download Backups

You can also download backups to store them locally. Click the download icon next to the backup.
