About this Mod
Client-side Fabric mod that stops you from breaking crops before they are grown. Made for mcMMO Herbalism, where auto-replant eats a seed on every harvest, but just as useful on vanilla farms.
What it does
Out of the box it blocks harvesting immature crops and protects the block a plant regrows from. Everything else is off by default and lives in Mod Menu:
- Growth point protection: the bottom block of sugar cane, bamboo, kelp and cactus and the top block of glow berry vines and pale hanging moss can't be broken, so the plant keeps producing. One toggle per plant
- Melon and pumpkin stems, sweet berry bushes and budding amethyst can't be broken, only harvested
- Harvest stats HUD with live per-minute rates
- Stop harvesting when you are out of seeds, so auto-replant never leaves a hole
- Require a hoe, so the Herbalism ability actually triggers
- Particles when a harvest is blocked
- Camera snap for straight farming rows
- Per-crop protection toggles for wheat, carrots, potatoes, beetroots, nether wart, cocoa, torchflower and pitcher plant
Keybinds
P toggles all protection (handy for mass harvesting), O camera snap, H the stats HUD, Shift+H resets the session, Ctrl+H drags the HUD.
Client-side only, works on any server. One jar covers Minecraft 26.1 through 26.2. English and Danish.

Does Crop Mod need to be installed on the Minecraft server?
No. Modrinth marks Crop Mod as unsupported on the server side. Install it only in your local Minecraft mods folder. Your server can remain unchanged unless the mod page lists an additional dependency.
Which version and loader does Crop Mod require?
Use a file for fabric and your exact Minecraft version. Supported versions include 26.2, 26.1.2, 26.1.1. Files for different loaders are not interchangeable.
Crop Mod is not working – what should I check?
First check the Minecraft version, loader version and required dependencies. Put the .jar file in your local .minecraft/mods folder and remove older duplicates. Because this mod is client-side, adding server RAM will not fix it.
