About this Mod

This mod adds a new item tag called ‘keep_on_death’. Any item in this tag will not drop when you die.
By default, only the Recovery Compass is in this tag but more items can be easily added via datapack.

Available for Fabric and Forge, be sure to download the right version.

How to Install Dont Drop Your Compass on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.19.2).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Dont Drop Your Compass". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
