EMI Enchanting

EMI Enchanting is a plugin for the EMI Recipe and Item viewer that displays various information about enchantments. Tab through the various information screens with the buttons at the bottom.

Basic summary info: Is the enchantment a curse? Can villagers trade it? What is it's maximum level?
Valid Items: Lists out every item that can be enchanted by the currently selected enchantment. Right click on an item to see every encahntment that piece of gear can validly have
Enchantment Description: Uses the same format as the mod of the same name, enchantment.namespace.path.desc
Exclusions: Lists out the enchantments that conflict with the currently selected one.

How to Install EMI Enchanting on Your Client

Install the Mod Loader Locally

Install fabric for your local Minecraft version.

Download the Matching File

Choose the EMI Enchanting file for fabric and Minecraft 1.21.1.

Install Mod

Place the .jar file in your local .minecraft/mods folder and restart Minecraft. No server-side installation is required.

Does EMI Enchanting need to be installed on the Minecraft server?

No. Modrinth marks EMI Enchanting as unsupported on the server side. Install it only in your local Minecraft mods folder. Your server can remain unchanged unless the mod page lists an additional dependency.

Which version and loader does EMI Enchanting require?

Use a file for fabric, forge, neoforge, quilt and your exact Minecraft version. Supported versions include 1.21.1, 1.21, 1.20.6. Files for different loaders are not interchangeable.

EMI Enchanting is not working – what should I check?
