About this Mod

About

This mod adds the "Ender Relay" block, allowing you to craft it for teleportation to any lodestone in the End. The block is fueled by End Crystals. To use it, simply right-click on the Ender Relay while holding an End Crystal in your hand. This will charge the Ender Relay. Then, another right-click will teleport the player to the linked lodestone's position.

This mod can be used in Survival Mode, for Adventure Maps and/or on Multiplayer Servers.

Supported Versions

Crafting Recipe

The block is crafted from 4 obsidian, 4 popped chorus fruit and one Lodestone Compass in the middle(as seen below), this recipe will output a single Ender Relay

Additional Notes

  • The ender relay can hold one end crystal at a time
  • You can hook up an hopper to refill it automatically
  • You can use a dispenser to charge an ender relay
  • The block emitts a redstone output of 15 with a comparator and has a light level of 12 when charged
  • The ender relay won't work unless crafted or spawned by a command with a lodestone postion

To get a working ender relay using commands simply use one of these two commands:

  • To get it as an item: /give @s ender_relay:ender_relay{LodestonePos:{X:Lodestone X, Y:Lodestone Y, Z:Lodestone Z}}
  • To spawn the block in a specfic location: /setblock X Y Z ender_relay:ender_relay{LodestonePos:{X:Lodestone X, Y:Lodestone Y, Z:Lodestone Z}}

Frequently Asked Questions

Ender Relay server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.4). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Is Ender Relay compatible with fabric and forge?

Ender Relay officially supports fabric, forge for Minecraft 1.20.4, 1.20.3, 1.20.2. Note: Forge and Fabric mods are NOT cross-compatible – pick one loader and stick with it. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.

Server lagging with Ender Relay – how to optimize performance?

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Ender Relay consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
