EpheroLib
A small library mod for Epherical mods (Croptopia/ServerBrowser)
About this Mod
A library mod taking what I've learned in the past three years of modding, to help abstract code between fabric and forge.
Includes configurate, to be used on fabric and forge to allow for a common config system. (From Croptopia)
Includes a method of abstracting networking away, to hide the differences between fabric and forge packets. (From Shoppy)
Includes server side translations that use GSON, so that for fabric/forge serverside mods, the lang files don't need to be distributed to the client, but you can still take advantage of localization based on the language sent to the server by the client. (For this)
A GSON based storage abstraction for storing data that you want to be stored per world (From Professions)

EpheroLib server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.5). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is EpheroLib compatible with fabric and forge and neoforge?
EpheroLib officially supports fabric, forge, neoforge for Minecraft 1.21.5, 1.21.4, 1.21.3. Note: Forge and Fabric mods are NOT cross-compatible – pick one loader and stick with it. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with EpheroLib – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if EpheroLib consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
