🙌 Hide your offhand and/or main hand in first person, optionally while holding specific items like a torch, totem of undying or a shield.
About this Mod
Hide Hands is a minimalistic client-side configurable mod which allows you to hide your offhand and/or main hand. This can be set to always hide or only when holding specific items. By default the mod hides the offhand when holding a torch or a totem of undying and the empty player's hand will be hidden, unless swung.
All available config options:

alwaysHideMainHand default false
If enabled, always hides the main hand. If disabled, hides the main hand when holding the items defined in hideMainHandWithItems.
alwaysHideEmptyMainHand default true
If enabled, always hides the main hand if it's empty. Will still be visible when swung empty.
hideMainHandWithItems default ""
The items which when held will hide the main hand if alwaysHideMainHand is disabled.
alwaysHideOffhand default false
If enabled, always hides the offhand. If disabled, hides the offhand when holding the items defined in hideOffhandWithItems.
hideOffhandWithItems default "minecraft:totem_of_undying,minecraft:torch"
The items which when held will hide the offhand if alwaysHideOffhand is disabled.

How to Install Hide Hands on Your Client
Install the Mod Loader Locally
Install fabric for your local Minecraft version.
Download the Matching File
Choose the Hide Hands file for fabric and Minecraft 26.2.
Install Mod
Place the .jar file in your local .minecraft/mods folder and restart Minecraft. No server-side installation is required.

Does Hide Hands need to be installed on the Minecraft server?
No. Modrinth marks Hide Hands as unsupported on the server side. Install it only in your local Minecraft mods folder. Your server can remain unchanged unless the mod page lists an additional dependency.
Which version and loader does Hide Hands require?
Use a file for fabric, forge, neoforge, quilt and your exact Minecraft version. Supported versions include 26.2, 26.1.2, 26.1.1. Files for different loaders are not interchangeable.
Hide Hands is not working – what should I check?
First check the Minecraft version, loader version and required dependencies. Put the .jar file in your local .minecraft/mods folder and remove older duplicates. Because this mod is client-side, adding server RAM will not fix it.
