KubeJS Additions

KubeJS Additions

This mod aims to provide pack makers with additional functionality not in KubeJS already. A key feature is that it allows you to listen to any arbitrary Fabric or Architectury Event, making the event listening possibilities endless!

About this Mod

KubeJS Additions adds more events and methods to KubeJS to make it easier for pack creators to do things such as toggling force-loaded chunks or getting ticking chunks, adding additional checks for blocks and entities, adding player stats, toggling a player's elytra, messing with JEI and more!

You can now listen to any Fabric or Arch event in 1.18.2 or 1.19.2

Examples and documentation for this mod can be found on GitHub here

You can also find a full list of examples for listening to arch and fabric events on KubeJS's discord in this thread.

Frequently Asked Questions

KubeJS Additions server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Is KubeJS Additions compatible with fabric and forge and neoforge?

KubeJS Additions officially supports fabric, forge, neoforge for Minecraft 1.21.1, 1.21, 1.20.1. Note: Forge and Fabric mods are NOT cross-compatible – pick one loader and stick with it. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.

Server lagging with KubeJS Additions – how to optimize performance?

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if KubeJS Additions consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
