MaceOptimiser
This mod helps for fix ghost hit on servers
About this Mod
In Minecraft PvP and PvE, lag often causes "Ghost Hits"—situations where your client thinks you hit an enemy, plays the sound and particles, but the server rejects it because you were slightly too far away.
The Solution:
This Fabric mod acts as a client-side range limiter. It calculates the exact distance to your target before you swing. If the target is further than 3.0 blocks (the standard survival reach), the mod prevents the attack packet from sending.
Features:
- Instant Feedback: If you don't swing, you know you need to move closer.
- Client-Side Only: Works on any server without needing to be installed on the server.
- Lightweight: Zero performance impact.
- Fair Play: Does not increase reach; it only validates it to match vanilla behavior.

Does MaceOptimiser need to be installed on the Minecraft server?
No. Modrinth marks MaceOptimiser as unsupported on the server side. Install it only in your local Minecraft mods folder. Your server can remain unchanged unless the mod page lists an additional dependency.
Which version and loader does MaceOptimiser require?
Use a file for fabric and your exact Minecraft version. Supported versions include 1.21.11, 1.21.10. Files for different loaders are not interchangeable.
MaceOptimiser is not working – what should I check?
First check the Minecraft version, loader version and required dependencies. Put the .jar file in your local .minecraft/mods folder and remove older duplicates. Because this mod is client-side, adding server RAM will not fix it.
