Stay informed of your progress with a notification every new day. This mod features smooth text animations, biome-based dynamic colors, and unique sound effects for major survival milestones.
Features
- Typewriter Animation – Each character appears sequentially with a subtle UI click sound.
- Dynamic Colors – Text color automatically adjusts to match your current biome (configurable).
- Milestone Celebrations – Special visual and auditory cues for significant days:
- 100 days: Aqua (#00F6FF) + Player level-up sound.
- 1,000 days: Electric blue (#00AEFF) + Ender dragon growl.
- 10,000 days: Deep blue (#003CFF) + Wither spawn sound.
- Static Display – Optionally keep the day counter permanently visible on your HUD, with adjustable background transparency.
- Custom Label – Replace or translate the "Day" label with any text of your choice, with full support for all game languages.
- Independent Label Color – The label and the day number can each have their own color, independent of one another.

Does Day Counter need to be installed on the Minecraft server?
No. Modrinth marks Day Counter as unsupported on the server side. Install it only in your local Minecraft mods folder. Your server can remain unchanged unless the mod page lists an additional dependency.
Which version and loader does Day Counter require?
Use a file for fabric, neoforge and your exact Minecraft version. Supported versions include 26.2, 26.1.2, 26.1.1. Files for different loaders are not interchangeable.
Day Counter is not working – what should I check?
First check the Minecraft version, loader version and required dependencies. Put the .jar file in your local .minecraft/mods folder and remove older duplicates. Because this mod is client-side, adding server RAM will not fix it.
