About this Mod
Mod List Memory
Moves recently-opened mods to the top of the mod list, or remembers your scroll position.
Works with ModMenu on Fabric and
Better Modlist on NeoForge.
Compatibility
- If you encounter issues with ModListMemory, please first check that you are using the correct version to match the
installed version of your mod-list mod, if there is any. You can check this by looking at the lastx.x.xnumber in
the mod version, e.g.v0.2.1+1.21+1.1.13indicates that the version is compiled against Better Modlistv1.1.13. - If the issue persists on the correct version, or if you are using the latest version of your mod-list mod and there is
not yet a version of ModListMemory to match, please report the issue via Discord or
GitHub.

Persistence
Persist on restartmakes the mod save its memory to the config file, allowing it to be restored when you restart
the game.Save on updatemakes the mod save its memory whenever you open a mod from the list, rather than only when you quit
the game. This takes a small amount of time (~1ms with a memory size of 5) and allowsPersist on restartto work even if the game crashes or otherwise fails to shut down properly.

Does ModListMemory need to be installed on the Minecraft server?
No. Modrinth marks ModListMemory as unsupported on the server side. Install it only in your local Minecraft mods folder. Your server can remain unchanged unless the mod page lists an additional dependency.
Which version and loader does ModListMemory require?
Use a file for fabric, forge, neoforge and your exact Minecraft version. Supported versions include 26.2, 26.2-rc-2, 26.2-rc-1. Files for different loaders are not interchangeable.
ModListMemory is not working – what should I check?
First check the Minecraft version, loader version and required dependencies. Put the .jar file in your local .minecraft/mods folder and remove older duplicates. Because this mod is client-side, adding server RAM will not fix it.
