MonoLib
A non-invasive library mod for Fabric, Forge, and NeoForge.
About this Mod
Use the most recent version of your preferred mod loader!
MONOLIB DOES NOT PROVIDE ANY NEW GAMEPLAY, BLOCKS, ITEMS, OR ENTITIES.
MonoLib is the cornerstone library for mods published by Lupin and authored by Jason13, designed to decrease code repetition across many projects. This library is open for use by anyone, but it's designed around our needs specifically. This mod has many similarities to Botania by Vazkii, Collective by Serilum, and Bookshelf by DarkhaxDev; from event callbacks and commands to registration binding, there's plenty of utility found inside.
MonoLib is released as loader-specific jar files, which can be imported via Modrinth's maven.
MonoLib only being supported for Minecraft versions 1.20.1, 1.21.1, 1.21.4, and 1.21.5 currently.
This project was made possible via these previous works:
Collective, a shared library with common code for all of Serilum's mods https://modrinth.com/mod/collective
Botania, a tech mod themed around natural magic https://modrinth.com/mod/botania
Bookshelf, a collection of code, frameworks, utilities, and other resources https://modrinth.com/mod/bookshelf-lib
Forgix, a Gradle plugin/an Architectury addon to merge mod-loaders into one jar! wahh technology https://github.com/PacifistMC/Forgix
MultiLoader-Template, a template for a Forge + Fabric project setup using a common source set. https://github.com/jaredlll08/MultiLoader-Template

MonoLib server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (26.1.2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is MonoLib compatible with fabric and forge and neoforge?
MonoLib officially supports fabric, forge, neoforge for Minecraft 26.1.2, 26.1.1, 26.1. Note: Forge and Fabric mods are NOT cross-compatible – pick one loader and stick with it. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with MonoLib – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if MonoLib consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
