This is a pretty simple Fabric and NeoForge mod that highlights the mobs that prevent you from sleeping. To avoid it being exploitative, it'll only highlight the mobs if the message you get would be "Can't sleep now; monsters near by", and it only highlights for 3 seconds.

If installed on the client, it'll work in singleplayer and any server. If it's installed on the server, than everyone can see the highlights, even those without the mod.

How to Install Monsters in the Closet on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.10).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Monsters in the Closet". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
