A FTB Quests: Localization keys fork, this mod are the basis for simple and easy translations of any modpack quest.
About this Mod
Re-FTBQLocalizationKeys (Re-FTBQKeys)
This is Fork of FTB Quests: Localization keys, a mod that extracts localization keys from FTB Quests task files and automatically generates language files.
How to use ?
- Install FTB Quests and KubeJS
- Run your modpack with fully written quests
- Write in chat:
/ftbqkey <language code>(/ftbqkey zh_cn). Language code affects only file name. - All files will be in the folder
<gamedir>/ftbqkeys/ - Move the generated files to the appropriate folders (
kubejs/assets/kubejs/langandconfig/ftbquests/quests). - After generating the language you can delete this mod.
Precautions
- 1.0.0-1.16.5 requires Java 16+
- If you want to add new quests to the already generated keys, don't do it. All subsequent quests and their localization keys will have to be written manually. This mod should only be used when you have finished writing all the text for your quests.
- It is better to add images after generating localization.
- Images do not perform well in the center of the text.
- If a "Format error" error appears at the top of the text, rewrite the text and try not to use any symbols.
- Task backups are generated in the
ftbqkeysfolder.

Does Re-FTBQLocalizationKeys need to be installed on the Minecraft server?
No. Modrinth marks Re-FTBQLocalizationKeys as unsupported on the server side. Install it only in your local Minecraft mods folder. Your server can remain unchanged unless the mod page lists an additional dependency.
Which version and loader does Re-FTBQLocalizationKeys require?
Use a file for fabric, forge, quilt and your exact Minecraft version. Supported versions include 1.20.2, 1.20.1, 1.20. Files for different loaders are not interchangeable.
Re-FTBQLocalizationKeys is not working β what should I check?
First check the Minecraft version, loader version and required dependencies. Put the .jar file in your local .minecraft/mods folder and remove older duplicates. Because this mod is client-side, adding server RAM will not fix it.
