About this Mod
This mod is all about adding slab variants of vanilla (but also modded) machines.
Currently the mod contains the following:
- Slab Workbench (compatible with the Fast Workbench mod)
- Slab Furnace (compatible with the Fast Furnace mod)
- Slab Noteblock
- Slab Tnt
- Slab Chest (and trapped)
- Tinkers' Construct (when installed adds slab variant of all table types. (including the tool forge)
- Just Enough Items (JEI) (when installed allows you to use the + to insert recipe)
- Crafting Tweaks (when installed adds the buttons to the slab workbench
In 1.12.2 this mod requires McMultiPart;
In the 1.16+ versions of Slab Machines the slabs can't be inter-mixed at this moment.
This mod is based upon Crafting Slabs.

How to Install Slab Machines on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (26.1.2).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Slab Machines". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Slab Machines server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (26.1.2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Slab Machines compatible with forge and neoforge?
Slab Machines officially supports forge, neoforge for Minecraft 26.1.2, 1.21.11, 1.21.8. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Slab Machines – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Slab Machines consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
