About this Mod
Spooky Foods:
Spooky Foods is a Minecraft mod that introduces creepy food items with unique effects and surprises.

Features:
Haunted Treats: Craft spooky snacks like the Fireball Lollipop, Creeper Cake and Sculk Steak.
Effects: Each food item grants buffs and spooky side effects
Themed Foods: Use materials from the Overworld, Nether, End, and Deep Dark to create your haunted meals.
Foods:

- Sculk Steak: Restores a lot of hunger and provides high saturation while granting the player a Regeneration effect. However, there's a 1% chance it will summon a Warden directly in front of the player if you're unlucky.

- Creeper Cake: Explodes after consumption, dealing damage to nearby entities and blocks but not harming the player eating it. Be careful where you snack!

- Fireball Lollipop: Grants Fire Resistance and Speed, but has a 20% chance to spawn a Blaze near the player.

- Slimy Honeycomb: Grants Jump Boost but also applies a Slowness debuff.

- Ender Egg: Applies Night Vision to the player, with a 40% chance to spawn an Enderman and a 20% chance to spawn an Endermite.

- Rotten Apple: Inflicts Hunger and Nausea on the player but also grants a Resistance buff.

- Mud Bread: Grants the Haste effect but also inflicts Weakness, with a 10% chance to spawn a Silverfish upon consumption.

- Frozen Rotten Flesh: Freezes the player briefly but grants Resistance II

- Magma Cookie: Sets the player on fire immediately upon consumption, but after a few seconds of burning, it grants Fire Resistance.

- Spider Eye Soup: Inflicts a brief Poison effect on the player but also grants Night Vision.

- Phantom Ghast Drink: Grants Slow Falling and Regeneration to the player, but also inflicts Hunger and has a 20% chance to spawn a Phantom.

- Spoiled Chicken Bowl: Grants Strength and has a 10% chance to spawn a Chicken, but also inflicts Hunger and Poison for a short time.

- Ashen Apple: Grants Fire Resistance but has a 30% chance to poison the player.

- Skeleton Bone Broth: A nutritious meal but with a 20% chance to spawn a Skeleton near the player.

Most recipes in this mod are shapeless, allowing ingredients to be placed in any arrangement

How to Install Spooky Foods on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (26.1.2).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Spooky Foods". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Spooky Foods server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (26.1.2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Server lagging with Spooky Foods – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Spooky Foods consumes the most tick time.
