About this Mod

Tetra is a minecraft mod that allows players to modify and improve tools, weapons and other types of equipment. Modified items can be improved over time through use. Powerful tool parts and schematics can be found in the world by scavenging ancient ruins or through trade and barter.
Tetra has two advancement tabs which covers most of the available content, and the holosphere provides an overview of the stats of modules, improvements and materials.

Tetra uses a utility library (mutil), you have to install that manually if you are not using the curseforge installer.
📝 Getting Started
- Craft a mallet using two sticks and two planks
- Craft and place a vanilla crafting table
- Right click the table with the mallet to upgrade it into a workbench
- Craft a vanilla weapon, tool, shield or a bow and place it in the workbench

Feel free to use this in modpacks or compilations as long as it's distributed through modrinth or curseforge. Feel free to modify or add content with datapacks (or kubejs or similar), for more information about use regarding addons and mod integration take a look at the github repo.

How to Install tetra on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "tetra". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

tetra server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is tetra compatible with forge and neoforge?
tetra officially supports forge, neoforge for Minecraft 1.20.1, 1.19.2, 1.19.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with tetra – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if tetra consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
