About this Mod
Third Person Mod
A Fabric mod that allows you to customize the camera distance in Minecraft’s third-person view (toggled with the F5 key).
You can freely adjust the camera distance, and optionally disable the automatic camera zoom-in that occurs when the camera collides with blocks or walls—allowing the camera to clip through and maintain its position.
Main Features
Adjustable Camera Distance
Freely set the distance between the player and the camera in third-person view.
The default value is 4.0.
Clip Through Blocks
Normally, when a wall or block is behind the player, the camera moves closer.
When this setting is enabled, the camera will ignore blocks and maintain its distance.
Useful for taking screenshots in tight spaces or checking builds.

Does Third Person (F5) need to be installed on the Minecraft server?
No. Modrinth marks Third Person (F5) as unsupported on the server side. Install it only in your local Minecraft mods folder. Your server can remain unchanged unless the mod page lists an additional dependency.
Which version and loader does Third Person (F5) require?
Use a file for fabric, forge, neoforge and your exact Minecraft version. Supported versions include 26.3-snapshot-4, 26.3-snapshot-3, 26.3-snapshot-2. Files for different loaders are not interchangeable.
Third Person (F5) is not working – what should I check?
First check the Minecraft version, loader version and required dependencies. Put the .jar file in your local .minecraft/mods folder and remove older duplicates. Because this mod is client-side, adding server RAM will not fix it.
