About this Mod

VM Translation Utility

VM Translation Utility is an automated translation management tool designed for Minecraft modpack translation patches, covering most translation-related use cases.

Regular players can use it to obtain additional translations provided through mod resource packs, while the VM Translation Group also uses it internally to provide players with a better translation experience.

This mod is licensed under the MIT License.

The automatic resource pack downloading and activation feature (VMTULibraries-Resourcepack) is based on modified code from the i18nUpdateMod3 mod and is therefore licensed under the AGPL License in accordance with the upstream license requirements.

How to Install VM Translation Utility on Your Client

Install the Mod Loader Locally

Install fabric for your local Minecraft version.

Download the Matching File

Choose the VM Translation Utility file for fabric and Minecraft 26.3.

Install Mod

Place the .jar file in your local .minecraft/mods folder and restart Minecraft. No server-side installation is required.

No. Modrinth marks VM Translation Utility as unsupported on the server side. Install it only in your local Minecraft mods folder. Your server can remain unchanged unless the mod page lists an additional dependency.

Which version and loader does VM Translation Utility require?

Use a file for fabric, forge, neoforge and your exact Minecraft version. Supported versions include 26.3, 26.2, 26.1.2. Files for different loaders are not interchangeable.

VM Translation Utility is not working – what should I check?
