About this Mod
What's That Slot?
This mod is a simple utility that allows you to query which items can be placed in a specific slot by holding down Left-Alt. The mod supports both NeoForge and Fabric (and Forge for older versions) - make sure to select the right file!
This is particularly useful in modded environments where it may not be clear what items can be placed in a modded
GUI.

Relevant items can also be quickly transferred from your inventory by clicking on them in the query window:
This mod works client-only, so it does not need to be installed on the server to run!

Does What's That Slot? need to be installed on the Minecraft server?
No. Modrinth marks What's That Slot? as unsupported on the server side. Install it only in your local Minecraft mods folder. Your server can remain unchanged unless the mod page lists an additional dependency.
Which version and loader does What's That Slot? require?
Use a file for fabric, forge, neoforge and your exact Minecraft version. Supported versions include 1.21.5, 1.21.4, 1.21.1. Files for different loaders are not interchangeable.
What's That Slot? is not working – what should I check?
First check the Minecraft version, loader version and required dependencies. Put the .jar file in your local .minecraft/mods folder and remove older duplicates. Because this mod is client-side, adding server RAM will not fix it.
