Move Tool
A tool that allows for moving structures instead of dismantling and rebuilding them
Description
This mod adds the Move Tool

Moving a structure
Left click a structure to pick it up, and left click again to set it down. Right click puts it back where it was. While you're holding something, normal hologram controls work: scroll wheel to rotate, H to lock the hologram in place, arrow keys and Page Up/Down to nudge it.

Moving multiple structures
Ctrl + Left click structures to select them, or hold it down and sweep across a whole area. Left click then picks up the entire selection at once, and right click cancels it. The selection moves as one piece, with the same rotation and adjustment controls as a single structure.
While selecting, press G to filter your selection on the highlighted object (press G again on the same object, or nothing in particular, to clear the filter).
Press R to toggle Blueprint Mode, which allows you to select and move a blueprint group.
Inventories, contents, belts, and connections are preserved through moves, so long as each piece is included in your selection.

Notes
Some buildings (rail-connected train stations, elevators, drone ports, rail signals) are not movable due to complexity in how Satisfactory handles these structures.

Frequently Asked Questions
Move Tool not working after update – what to do?
After a Satisfactory update, mods need to be updated. Check ficsit.app whether Move Tool has been updated for the new game version. With Mado Hosting: open the mod manager and click "Update All". If the mod hasn't been updated yet, temporarily remove it so the server starts.
Move Tool causing crashes in multiplayer – solution
Most common cause: all players must have exactly the same mod version installed. Check server logs for "ModMismatch" or "Version Conflict". Ensure all players use Move Tool v1.4.7 and the same SML. With Mado Hosting, Satisfactory servers run with 6 GB RAM for stable multiplayer performance.
Is Move Tool compatible with other Satisfactory mods?
Move Tool uses the Satisfactory Mod Loader (SML). Generally, SML-based mods are cross-compatible, but mods modifying the same game systems can cause conflicts. Test new mod combinations on a backup save. The Mado dashboard automatically detects known conflicts and warns you.
Rent Move Tool Server
