🗺️ 🜂 Chronicles of the Lost Lands

The Earth has been forgotten. Burning portals crumble to ashes, and beneath the ruins of the world lies something that remembers ancient times. Your task is not just to survive. Your task is to uncover the truth.

✨ Story description of the modpack:

Welcome to the Chronicles of the Lost Lands — a modpack that takes you on a journey through transformed Minecraft worlds, full of abandoned fortresses, living ruins, pulsating portals, and echoes of forgotten civilizations.

As a traveler, you awaken among overgrown paths and forgotten campfires. With every step, you discover more — not only about the world around you but also about yourself. The land remembers, and so will you.

But you are not alone. The world lives — literally. New creatures roam the wilds, every sound, every path, every ruin hides a story waiting to be told.

⚔️ What awaits you?

🧭 Exploration
Discover beautifully generated worlds filled with dungeons & taverns, fiery biomes (Incendium), sprawling overworld terrain (Terralith), and ancient structures (Hopo Better Ruined Portals, Underwater Ruins, and Mineshafts).

🛡️ Character growth
Grow stronger through a built-in skill tree (Puffish Skills) as you explore and survive — progression that emerges from play, not from a checklist.

🐾 A living world
New creatures roam the land (Friends & Foes, Nemo's Creatures), loot is more rewarding and varied (Lootbags, RandomLoot), and custom Radio Mod lets you tune in to real internet radio stations without leaving the game.

🌿 Survival with soul
Keep your inventory in check with a single keypress (Inventory Profiles Next — sort, gear sets, auto-refill), survive dark nights with Dynamic Lights, and explore caves with realistic sounds (Presence Footsteps, Sound Physics Remastered). No quest logs this time around — just you, your surroundings, and the choices you make.

🎨 Immersion and atmosphere
Immerse yourself in a world that looks and sounds so good it will be hard to go back to vanilla: Better Animations, Visuality, 3D Crops, Enhanced Audio, Falling Leaves — plus a fully custom main menu and loading screen made specifically for this pack.

🧰 Explorer tools
Xaero's Minimap, Zoomify, and Jade help you navigate and understand the world around you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Chronicles of the Lost Lands server crashes or won't start – what to do?

Most common causes: insufficient RAM or wrong fabric loader. Check latest.log for "OutOfMemoryError" → increase RAM to at least 8 GB. For "Mixin" or "ClassNotFoundException" errors: modpack version and loader don't match. With Mado Hosting, loader and Minecraft version are auto-configured on modpack install – preventing most startup issues.

How much RAM does a Chronicles of the Lost Lands server really need?

Minimum 6 GB, recommended 8 GB for stable performance. per 5 players. Important: Minecraft modpacks need more RAM than vanilla – plan extra per additional player. With Mado Hosting, you can scale RAM up live at any time without data loss (from €7.800000000000001/month).

Can I add custom mods to Chronicles of the Lost Lands without conflicts?

Yes, but check compatibility: only use mods for the same loader (fabric) and same Minecraft version (26.2). Common issues: ID conflicts with recipe mods and incompatible coremod versions. The Mado dashboard mod browser only shows compatible mods and warns about known conflicts.

Chronicles of the Lost Lands server lagging – performance tips

1) Increase RAM to 8 GB+. 2) Reduce server view-distance to 8 (server.properties). 3) Pre-generate chunks with the "Chunky" plugin. 4) Use /spark profiler to check which mods consume the most tick time.
