- Expanded Gear Progression. In Legacies, you'll progress in an all-new fashion. From Wood to Stone, from Copper to Iron, from Gold to Rose and even from Diamond to Remnant, Netherite or Featherzeal - Legacies provides much more expansive and varied paths for Progression
- A Wilder World. The Overworld comes alive with a plethora of new biomes - from the Frozen Caves to the Golden Forest, there are 20+ new, high-quality biomes to discover. Furthermore, you can expect to see many vanilla biomes faithfully upgraded - from Pine trees in the taiga to Willow trees in the Swamp
- Music, Melody, Atmosphere. A massive update to the vanilla soundtrack, with dozens of new, fitting tracks in different biomes whilst retaining all the original Minecraft songs. Additionally, expect to discover new music discs and listen to new ambient sounds during your time in Legacies
- Easy Multiplayer. With support for e4mc & a global public server, you can easily play with friends - no server required!
- Upgraded Nether. Expect new materials, loot, structures, overhauled worldgen, nether ore veins & more!
- Enchanting Reimagined. Enchanting and repairing systems have been completely overhauled. Earn and discover dozens of new & vanilla-reworked Enchantments, Curses and Blessings, as you collect Tomes, use Altars and customise the many attributes of your own Enchanting Table.
- Into the End. Collect and repair Fractured Eyes, reach the overhauled Stronghold and fight a renewed Ender Dragon. Venture forth to the outer End isles - you best be prepared to explore a vast and unfamiliar landscape filled with new biomes, mobs, structures, terrain and much more...
- Custom Combat. Quivers allow all-new ways to perform ranged combat. Shields have blocking metres, enchantments and parry-timing mechanics. Hunger and health regeneration have been heavily changed. Range, speed and damage of all equipment has been modified. Experience a highly-developed unique iteration of combat!
- Structures Rebuilt. Overhauled Dungeons. Catacombs and Remnants. Ruins and Obelisks scattered across the world. There are so many new and updated structures to discover - all of which are fittingly rare. Remade Strongholds. In Legacies - structure clutter is no problem - new structures encourage exploration to find all-new rewards, from the Katana to the Boomerang to mystical Tablets of power, and yet both new and vanilla structures are made fittingly rare to ensure that an essential balance of isolation and discovery are preserved.
- Overhauled Advancements. An overhaul of the vanilla advancement system featuring 100+ custom advancements, with dedicated tabs to guide you through the main progression/story of Legacies alongside tabs for the Overworld, Nether, End and Adventure. Both new and returning advancements reward XP upon completion and integrate with Legacies' mods to provide a unified experience where you can progress through the game and complete challenges.
- Uniquely Integrated Experience. Legacies has an absurd (hundreds of hours worth) focus on integration - in order to feel like you're playing a whole, unified game, not a collection of assorted mods.
- Much, much more! Mooblooms and Penguins. Rebalanced armor. Hooks and Knives. Collectible sherds, trims and lore books. There are so many new biomes, blocks and mobs to discover while you enjoy Legacies' many sweeping changes to core gameplay systems - you really must check the pack out for yourself!

Frequently Asked Questions
Legacies server crashes or won't start – what to do?
Most common causes: insufficient RAM or wrong fabric loader. Check latest.log for "OutOfMemoryError" → increase RAM to at least 8 GB. For "Mixin" or "ClassNotFoundException" errors: modpack version and loader don't match. With Mado Hosting, loader and Minecraft version are auto-configured on modpack install – preventing most startup issues.
How much RAM does a Legacies server really need?
Minimum 6 GB, recommended 8 GB for stable performance. per 5 players. Important: Minecraft modpacks need more RAM than vanilla – plan extra per additional player. With Mado Hosting, you can scale RAM up live at any time without data loss (from €7.800000000000001/month).
Can I add custom mods to Legacies without conflicts?
Yes, but check compatibility: only use mods for the same loader (fabric) and same Minecraft version (26.1.2). Common issues: ID conflicts with recipe mods and incompatible coremod versions. The Mado dashboard mod browser only shows compatible mods and warns about known conflicts.
Legacies server lagging – performance tips
1) Increase RAM to 8 GB+. 2) Reduce server view-distance to 8 (server.properties). 3) Pre-generate chunks with the "Chunky" plugin. 4) Use /spark profiler to check which mods consume the most tick time. With Mado Hosting, all servers run on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores – eliminating hardware as a bottleneck.
