About this Mod
📖 About:
Better Mods Button adds the mods button back to the pause screen as in Forge versions prior to Minecraft 1.13, so it can be used to easily access in-game mod configuration (when available).
As a bonus, there are plenty of options for where and how exactly you want your mods button to be shown on screen (heavily inspired by Mod Menu). Showing a total mod count, as well as toggling the update notification glyph are both supported.

How to Install Better Mods Button on Your Client
Install the Mod Loader Locally
Install forge for your local Minecraft version.
Download the Matching File
Choose the Better Mods Button file for forge and Minecraft 26.1.2.
Install Mod
Place the .jar file in your local .minecraft/mods folder and restart Minecraft. No server-side installation is required.

Does Better Mods Button need to be installed on the Minecraft server?
No. Modrinth marks Better Mods Button as unsupported on the server side. Install it only in your local Minecraft mods folder. Your server can remain unchanged unless the mod page lists an additional dependency.
Which version and loader does Better Mods Button require?
Use a file for forge, neoforge and your exact Minecraft version. Supported versions include 26.1.2, 26.1.1, 26.1. Files for different loaders are not interchangeable.
Better Mods Button is not working – what should I check?
First check the Minecraft version, loader version and required dependencies. Put the .jar file in your local .minecraft/mods folder and remove older duplicates. Because this mod is client-side, adding server RAM will not fix it.
