About this Mod

Chiseled bookshelf inspector

Inspect any book in a chiseled bookshelf.
If you look at a book in a bookshelf with this mod, you will see what type of book it is and its name!

Examples:

Enchanted books:
Example 1, with enchanted books

Written book:
Example 2, with Written book

Normal book:
Example 3. with a normal book

Lectern:
Example 4. with a lectern with a book in

Shelf:
Example 5, with shelf

Multiplayer

This mod will need to be on the server to work in multiplayer.
You don't need the mod to connect to the server. It's totally optional!

Config

You can change the config with Cloth Config and Modmenu.
You can also edit the file in config dir if you don't want the mods. But they are recommended

How to Install Bookshelf Inspector on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (26.3-snapshot-5).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Bookshelf Inspector". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors.
