Common Network
Forge and Fabric Unified Networking Solution
About this Mod
Common Networking
This library mod aims to unify networking and packet registration between mod loaders so that Developers using Jared's MultiLoader Template only need to deal with networking in the common module. But, it is not limited to only usage with MultiLoader. This can be used in other projects as well.
This also allows your mod to be loader agnostic. The way packets are built and constructed, Forge version of the mod on the client, can talk to the Fabric version on the server. Though you will need to create your own handshake packet.

Most common cause: wrong bukkit version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (26.2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Common Network officially supports bukkit, fabric, forge, neoforge, paper, quilt for Minecraft 26.2, 26.1.2, 26.1.1. Note: Forge and Fabric mods are NOT cross-compatible – pick one loader and stick with it. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Common Network – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Common Network consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
