About this Mod

📖 About:
The mod is a small mixture of the Middle Ages and the Viking Age.
There are many new decorative blocks, items and more with unique functions.
The mod is perfectly suited for survival in singleplayer and in multiplayer.
All blocks from the old mod have been implemented in this one
There are some blocks that are exclusive to the creative mode

Visual Issues with Blocks
If you have visual problems with block models, it is probably because you are using Oculus.
Are Shaders supported?
Shaders are supported, but only with optifine. Oculus can also be used, but we cannot guarantee anything.

How to Install Days In The Middle Ages on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Days In The Middle Ages". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Days In The Middle Ages server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Days In The Middle Ages compatible with fabric and forge?
Days In The Middle Ages officially supports fabric, forge for Minecraft 1.20.1, 1.19.2, 1.18.2. Note: Forge and Fabric mods are NOT cross-compatible – pick one loader and stick with it. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Days In The Middle Ages – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Days In The Middle Ages consumes the most tick time.
