About this Mod

First-Person Model replaces the vanilla first person model with the third person one, immersing you into the game even further.
This mod does not change any animations, is purely visual and fully client-side, and works seamlessly on any server without requiring installation server-side.
Animations that fit the perspective granted by this mod are provided by the dependency mod, Not Enough Animations.

Mods that change the player model in a non-vanilla friendly way may be incompatible due to the need to disable rendering of the player head. If you see the inside of your head, you are likely running an incompatible mod.

Does this need to be installed on the server?
No. This is a fully client-side mod and does not need to be installed on the server.
Will I get banned for using this on servers?
No. This mod doesn't touch the player camera, and it's not even configurable here. The camera is at the same position as vanilla, not giving any unfair advantage.

Does First-person Model need to be installed on the Minecraft server?
No. Modrinth marks First-person Model as unsupported on the server side. Install it only in your local Minecraft mods folder. Your server can remain unchanged unless the mod page lists an additional dependency.
Which version and loader does First-person Model require?
Use a file for fabric, forge, neoforge and your exact Minecraft version. Supported versions include 26.2, 26.1.2, 26.1.1. Files for different loaders are not interchangeable.
First-person Model is not working β what should I check?
First check the Minecraft version, loader version and required dependencies. Put the .jar file in your local .minecraft/mods folder and remove older duplicates. Because this mod is client-side, adding server RAM will not fix it.
