about

Minecraft Java and Bedrock have several issues due to the lack of parity between the two editions — notably differences in textures, behaviors, and more. This can be frustrating for players unfamiliar with Java or even disrupt the overall gameplay experience between the two versions.

This modpack includes only carefully selected mods, datapacks, and resource packs that specifically target parity issues, aligning textures, behaviors, and mechanics to make Java behave more like Bedrock while keeping the experience stable and consistent.

The result is a more coherent experience for players transitioning between the two editions, reducing confusion and preserving the original feel of Bedrock.

features

Why not just stick with Bedrock? The Bedrock edition may feel smoother out of the box, but it’s limited by its closed ecosystem and lack of mod support. Bedrock Reloaded runs on the powerful Java base, giving you real customization, mod flexibility, and advanced performance tuning — all while maintaining the familiar Bedrock feel.

High Performance

  • A well-selected set of performance-enhancing mods is included — improving the efficiency of internal calculations and game systems.
  • Runs smoothly at 96 chunks on Distant Horizons, even with shaders enabled.

Stability

  • Fixes several bugs and inconsistencies present in the Java edition.
  • Unlike Bedrock, there is a way to add mods and other free additional content.

Flexible

  • Most of Bedrock's features can be disabled with a few clicks.
  • Server-friendly, allowing you to quickly and easily set up.
  • The modpack and many of the included mods are open-source.

Frequently Asked Questions

Bedrock Reloaded server crashes or won't start – what to do?

Most common causes: insufficient RAM or wrong fabric loader. Check latest.log for "OutOfMemoryError" → increase RAM to at least 6 GB. For "Mixin" or "ClassNotFoundException" errors: modpack version and loader don't match. With Mado Hosting, loader and Minecraft version are auto-configured on modpack install – preventing most startup issues.

How much RAM does a Bedrock Reloaded server really need?

Minimum 4 GB, recommended 6 GB for stable performance. per 8 players. Important: Minecraft modpacks need more RAM than vanilla – plan extra per additional player. With Mado Hosting, you can scale RAM up live at any time without data loss (from €5.2/month).

Can I add custom mods to Bedrock Reloaded without conflicts?

Yes, but check compatibility: only use mods for the same loader (fabric) and same Minecraft version (26.2). Common issues: ID conflicts with recipe mods and incompatible coremod versions. The Mado dashboard mod browser only shows compatible mods and warns about known conflicts.

Bedrock Reloaded server lagging – performance tips

1) Increase RAM to 6 GB+. 2) Reduce server view-distance to 8 (server.properties). 3) Pre-generate chunks with the "Chunky" plugin. 4) Use /spark profiler to check which mods consume the most tick time. With Mado Hosting, all servers run on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores – eliminating hardware as a bottleneck.
