About this Mod
This mod fixes texture packs with CITs for enchanted books on versions 1.20.5 to 1.21.3. It is meant as a temporary fix until this functionality comes back to mods such as CIT Resewn or Optifine. The showcase below is using my texture pack Enchanted Books from Mars. But this mod is compatible with almost all other texture packs adding more enchanted book textures.
Configuration
You can configure this mod directly in-game or edit the JSON file config/cithotfix.json in your profile folder. If you're using Fabric and want to adjust the config values in-game, you'll need to install Mod Menu.

How to Install CIT: Hotfix for Enchanted Books on Your Client
Install the Mod Loader Locally
Install fabric for your local Minecraft version.
Download the Matching File
Choose the CIT: Hotfix for Enchanted Books file for fabric and Minecraft 1.21.3.
Install Mod
Place the .jar file in your local .minecraft/mods folder and restart Minecraft. No server-side installation is required.

No. Modrinth marks CIT: Hotfix for Enchanted Books as unsupported on the server side. Install it only in your local Minecraft mods folder. Your server can remain unchanged unless the mod page lists an additional dependency.
