About this Mod
Grind enchantments adds a few new features to the grindstone.
Disenchant to book
You can put an enchanted item and a book into the grindstone, and you will get the enchantments onto the book (and your unenchanted item back).
Move enchantments between books
If you put an enchanted book into the top slot and an empty (or also already enchanted) book into the bottom slot of the grindstone, the enchantment at the top of the first book will be put onto the other book.
This is useful if you have a book that has enchantments for different types of items (for example, a book with Efficiency and Protection), so you can separate them.
Supports Tax free levels.
This mod is for Fabric. A port to Forge is not planned.

How to Install Grind enchantments on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (26.2).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Grind enchantments". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Grind enchantments server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (26.2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Grind enchantments compatible with fabric and neoforge?
Grind enchantments officially supports fabric, neoforge for Minecraft 26.2, 26.1.2, 26.1.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Grind enchantments – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Grind enchantments consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
