Detailed setup guide(Recommended)
Setup:
While in game use /taw set-cycle-length
For example /taw set-cycle-length minecraft:overworld 24000 9000 will set day duration to 24000 ticks and night to 9000 ticks for dimension overworld
20 ticks = 1 second, 1200 ticks = 1 minute, 72 000 ticks = 1 hour
If you want to remove configuration for world use /taw remove-cycle-entry
World id can be obtained using /taw get-current-world-id, this command will print id of current world you are in
You can also navigate to config/time-and-wind/time-data.json and make changes there.
After all changes made use /taw reload to apply them
Seizure warning: Setting values less than 12000 may cause epilepsy or other unwanted side effects!
Note: Custom configuration for dimensions that have fixed time will obviously not work. In Vanilla you can only configure custom time length for overworld, but if you have modded dimensions without fixed time you will be able to set custom time length for them and it will work.
This mod also patches getSkyAngle method in order to make day and night length even since in vanilla day is a little bit longer than night. This can be disabled in config file.
How does mod works:
Using mixin mod redirects call to setTime in tickTime method passing control to custom ticker method. That means you don't need to set game rule doDayLightCycle to false for this mod to function.

Time & Wind officially supports fabric, forge for Minecraft 1.20.4, 1.20.3, 1.20.2. Note: Forge and Fabric mods are NOT cross-compatible – pick one loader and stick with it. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Time & Wind – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Time & Wind consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
