About this Mod
Hephaestus is a Fabric port of the Forge mod Tinkers' Construct.
Hephaestus is a mod about putting tools together in a wide variety of ways, then modifying them until they turn into something else. The tools never disappear and can be named and changed to your heart's desire. Once you make them, they're yours forever. Many different materials can be used to make your tools.
This mod doesn't add anything besides making it compatible with Fabric, however there are plans later to add some exclusive content and possibly tweak some of the current content. For more info about the mod itself see the Tinkers' Construct page.
1.18.2 builds have critical bugs that may ruin game-play experience. They are effectively archived.
No support will be given if you are using a 1.18.2 build
A 1.19.2 PORT IS NOT HAPPENING!
I don't have the time and motivation to do 1.19.2.
So stop harassing me to support older versions.

How to Install Hephaestus on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Hephaestus". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Hephaestus server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Hephaestus compatible with fabric and quilt?
Hephaestus officially supports fabric, quilt for Minecraft 1.20.1, 1.20, 1.19.4. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Hephaestus – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Hephaestus consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
